visit to the doc

So i had my 2nd doctor appointment this Monday.
I go in thinking they might do more blood tests and wasn't looking forward to it, but thankfully they didn't.
They checked my weight and I'm 120.... freaking 7! 127! that's crazy!
They checked my pressure etc etc. All the blood work came back okay! The only thing that's worrying me is the weight, so I've decided to walk/jog everyday for at least half hour. I hope I can keep it up!

The nurse says 'wait here,' a few minutes later comes back and takes me to a room where she asks me to lay down and says 'we're going to check for your baby's heartbeat.' 'No sonogram?,' I ask. 'Not until you're 16 weeks,' she says. I was a little disappointed but didn't think much of it.

She puts this yucky stuff on my belly, the same thing they put when they do the sonogram, and starts putting this block looking thing on it, looking for the heartbeat... she can't find it... she looks some more, but nothing. I think... 'great! not again!' I started thinking maybe it had happened again. She says 'I'm going to call another nurse.' She comes right back by herself and tries again. Finally, after a few tries she finds the heartbeat, I hear it, its kinda fast. she says 'there's your baby's heartbeat,' sigh of relief.

My mom had said she was gonna go with me but didn't go after all, second time she does this. When I got home she was there and asked me how it went but I told her that I wasn't gonna tell her anything and not to ask me about it. I'm not upset at her anymore but I don't plan on telling her any details of the status of me or my baby unless she asks again. whatever.

In school I got a 76.4 average for my college algebra class, sucks! I really wanted to get a B. :(
