so I ended up making $30 bucks from the garage sale from random crap that sold yay! :P.. my mom just handed me over the money and I was like.. cool! I didn't think anything of my stuff would sell.
My mom and most of my family (except for me and my brother), all went out of town today, to south padre island. It was kind of spontaneous 'cus noone had talked about going before yesterday. She asked me if I wanted to go but I said no. I just don't want to get sunburn and besides.. I dont know if I'd be able to enjoy myself.. perhaps it would make me feel nostalgic knowing that my dad passed away on that beach and I wasn't even there with him :/ I haven't been there for spring break either because.. well.. I can't have fun there anymore, or at least I dont think I could, haven't tried to find out.
Today I went for a short cruise with my friend G. He headed south and we were pretty close to were I used to live when I was growing up. I told him.. 'hey.. I used to live around here'.. him: 'really?'.. me: 'yeah!.. wanna see where?'.. him: 'yes, just lead the way'..
it was cool.. brought back alot of memories just as I passed by my old neighborhood.. and more so when we passed exactly in front of my old house. It was as if I was watching an old family video where I could see my dad (r.i.p.) sitting on his rocking chair in front of the house at night, just chilling and looking at the people from the park across the street. has that ever happened to you?
speaking of growing up, my little niece is growing up soooo fast. I remember when I used to be able to carry her like nothing.. now she weighs a ton hehe. She was in my room the other day and was playing/messing around with my scanner which was on the floor... the top closed down and she went 'Oh shit!'.. only she says it like 'Oh shet!'.. it was sooo funny! I know its a bad thing for her to say lol but its cute.
Later on the day I was just watching tv in my room at nite, laying on my bed, she came over to me and hands me a receipt lol.. I look at it and start reading what it said on the receipt outloud. For some reason she found that funny and started laughing lol.. so I keep doing it and she starts cracking up o__O lol.. after a while I gave her the receipt back.. she looks at it and BLABS away some nonsense words, looks at me, and laughs.. she's sooo smart.. she knew exactly what she was doing, copying me. lol awww.. she's sooo cute and funny. i love her.
